This doesn’t have quite the same grace as the Combottes but it’s definitely a quality effort as it’s built-to-age and a wine that’s going to need at least half a dozen years of patience first while rewarding 15+

offering alluringly sweet blueberry and cherry preserve flavors along with hints of licorice and candied flowers

the 2013 is one of the most impressive young La Serras I have ever tasted from Roberto Voerzio because the tannins are much more polished than is typically the case here
