Concrete sleepered turnouts had previously been impractical due to the concrete being broken by the impact caused as wheels passed through the frog area. This has been resolved by redesigning the frog so that the flange supports the wheel across the gap in the running rail. PECO Streamline Code 75 track meets the standards of
