and the winter following the bottling (it was bottled in May 2017 at the same time as the Laurel) is when they tend to show closed

There is good richness and volume to the lightly mineral inflected middle weight flavors that possess moderately firm but fine tannins that contribute to the overall sense of refinement. Lovely.
