A. group have roots in short lived scuzz rock band Spinout, who released one record in 1991 (on Delicious Vinyl, oddly enough) and then morphed into Acetone. Between 1993 and 2001, the trio released a string of cult LPs on Virgin sublabel Vernon Yard and Neil Youngs Vapor imprint, but their psych & surf influenced sound failed to make any major waves under the looming shadow
